The Texas Longhorn cap. There's nothing goofy about this one!
Since the "hat thing" seems to run in the family, I decided I needed to add Jack's sister to the mix.
Jack tried on this silly number in the grocery store in Springdale, Utah just outside Zion National Park. I don't think the braids are supposed to be flipped up. Interesting look though.
Jack, always the jokester! I'm trying on shoes - he's trying on hats.
Interesting pre-owned cowboy hat. It's just not "you" though, Jack.
What can I say, "Interesting, but NO."

The "I have lots of wild hair" visor. I like this, but can't convince Jack to actually buy it. Hmmm? Great Christmas idea.
The "Rocky Mountain Moose" hat. Please don't look in the mirror, Jack.
Love your blog and especially the pictures of Jack and his hats. I also have an extensive collection of hats, but nothing like Jacks.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are having a great time. Really enjoyed meeting you, Paula and seeing Jack and Jan. Wish there had been more time.
Now that you are mobile, maybe you will pass thru Northern Illinois. It's just a few miles thru Illinois corn country to beautiful Wisconsin. Consider this an invitation.
Happy trails, David
Hi David, Thanks for checking out my blog. We had a wonderful time visiting with both of you while you were in Phoenix. What a chance meeting to catch us visiting the area also. We would love to come your direction along our travels. We'll make a point of getting that way and spending more time together. It's hard to catch up with family after 50 years, but I think y'all did very well. There's so much more to know about each other. We're looking forward to it. ~~ Paula
