“You didn’t build that!”

October 25, 2014: Living Desert Zoo & Gardens.     

We didn’t have time to stop at the Living Desert yesterday so we’re making the quick trip back down to the north edge of Carlsbad to see the zoo and gardens.

It’s pretty underwhelming; the grounds and gardens seem unkempt and I feel sorry for the animals.  I hate to be negative, but it’s just the way it is.  Here’s a few photos of flora.

“You didn’t build that!” ~~~ OH, YES THEY DID!

 

Driving back to Brantley Lake Jack notices a sign on the side of a building.  He’s so observant.  When I find a place to turn around we head back down the road and pull into the parking lot of FAS-LINE Sales & Rental of Carlsbad.

It appears the fine folks at FAS-LINE think THEY built THEIR business.

OBAMA DIDN’T CREATE THIS BUSINESS

Blood, sweat, tears, and hard work from others did.  He can kiss our pipe!!!

Do you remember back when Obama said that?  “You didn’t build that!”

How about the recent speech by Hillary where she said, “Don’t let them tell you that businesses create jobs.”

I’m just sayin’ folks, government does not create jobs – businesses create jobs.  Any "jobs" (or programs) that government “creates” are paid for right out of your pocket and mine.  Enough of that.  Until next time – be safe.  And, go create a business and jobs!
