Sunrise over Lake Powell.
New neighbors, Bob and
Margie, set up camp next to us.
They’re from St. George, Utah.
Bob comes over to chat and asks if we want to take a boat ride with them
to a nearby cove. They’re here for a
last weekend of boating and then they are taking their boat back home to store
for the winter. The dogs are anxious to get going. We hop in the boat and speed away with Bob, Margie, and the dogs.
The dogs are poised to leap from the boat as we approach the beach in the cove.
We wander the beach for a
little while. Get the dogs back in the
boat and head back home. Bob and Margie
offer another more extensive excursion tomorrow. We're on board for another fun day!
Back home and settled in we
watch the moon rise over the lake. Good
night all.
